The Alpine Health & Spa Oase
The health centre for the region
Planning and development – phase 2
Known as a sun trap, Beatenberg’s ideal climate conditions make it the perfect setting for the planned medical health centre.
‘Oase’ health centre
ASLAN intends to offer health services in a 400 m2 area. Space will also be available for doctors’ and dentists’ surgeries as well beauty salons. ASLAN already uses this concept to successfully operate health centres in Olsberg (D) and Bad Steben (D).
The ‘Oase’ (meaning ‘Oasis’) health centre should also enable smaller local hotels and para-hotels to increase their occupancy rates by offering packages that include treatments. Transportation to and from the health centre will be provided by an electric vehicle.
Services/facilities:
- ASLAN therapies
- Prevention, regeneration and revitalisation
- Symptom treatment
- Occupational health care
- Dietary advice, dietary change, fasting
- Beauty and anti-ageing programmes
- Procaine
- Thymosand therapy
Water worlds
In addition to the health centre, water worlds with a spa will also be created and the facility should be accessible to guests at both the Jungfraublick Resort and the Beauregard as well as the public.
A 1,500 m2 resource-efficient water world with an energy-efficient and water-saving counter-current system is planned. The energy supply will be safeguarded by the district heating plant (also currently in the planning stage) and supplemented with a solar power system on the roof of the building.
A resort with these facilities will benefit from better occupancy rates and longer stays. Furthermore, it will not be dependent on the weather.
Regeneration: the secret to our health
Regeneration is our body’s natural ability to remain healthy and combat illnesses and premature wear. Unfortunately, this ability wanes as we get older. Our body cells no longer reliably regenerate; the level of wear exceeds that of renewal. The result: we age. Our organs and muscles degenerate. Our skin loses its elasticity and becomes slack and wrinkled. Our immune system also becomes weaker and is no longer able to defend itself as successfully against internal and external illnesses. We lose vitality, mobility and quality of life.
We have long-since known that one of the things that affects the ageing process is our way of life. A poor, unbalanced diet, alcohol, nicotine, drugs, high levels of sun exposure, stress and a lack of exercise all contribute to the cells no longer being able to correctly process vital nutrients. Waste products accumulate, the supply of energy is disrupted and the process of cell renewal is suppressed. Eventually, these cell action potentials wither away entirely. The degradation process heightens and the signs of deficits increase. A gradual lack of oxygen also occurs.
Back at the start of the 19th century, the Berlin doctor and cell researcher Prof. Max Rubner determined that the loss of the human cell system’s ability to regenerate could be attributed to a disturbed metabolism. A few years later, his findings were confirmed by Prof. Ana Aslan and responded to with a holistic treatment concept for regenerative and preventive medicine. The mechanisms responsible for the progression of the ageing process are effectively and sustainably influenced through various treatments during ASLAN therapy.
